    Broken 1992 1st.pressing

Nine Inch Nails follow up to the successful 1989 album PHM this was a 1st edition which came with a 3 inch disc (later pressings added the 2 trks as 98 and 99 I think) I would most definitely recommend this EP if you're a fan of NIN A+ 5 stars

  • Broken - Nine Inch Nails (CD 1992) w/ 3" mini cd

In research of understanding this CD, It has opened many views about this album from Trent rebeling from a record company to his motion to make wave about the seriousness of Serial Killers in America. A 20 minute Video of this CDs' body of work was also guided to production but never made it but to only hands of a few close colleagues of Trent.I must describe this is Trent truly awakened in his new line of competition to hard strings on anal RocK N Roll. He introduced massive electric sense of his projection of realism of a movement that poses his generation of being alive with bands such as Ministry,Skinny Puppy etc. Welcome to a rage of electric guitars at work. In display is a genetic DNA of vintage mid 1990 wave of crisp yet razor like sharp electrical sounds raging from the amps ...

  • An angry aggressive masterpiece

Even though this is just an EP, it is my favorite NIN CD. The songs are aggressive, in your face, and dynamic. "Wish" and "Happiness In Slavery" will be the most recognized from this set, but I also love the cover of Adam Ant's "Physical". I have read that Trent made this CD as a big middle finger to the record company who he was really mad at at the time. Happiness in Slavery spells it out, but really, each song does. Some good ambient yet hard instrumentals throughout. Remember this is an EP. A self-indulgent one at that, but I feel like artists are at their best, and in their truest form when they create for themselves and not the masses. Great CD, great packaging too.

  • CD so good, played out my first copy... bought another

What an amazing album! This is definitely where Trent breaks out into the scene that he helped establish. Broken is another solid album from beginning to end. Punchy, progressive, industrial, trance; it's got it all! This would be my second copy of this CD because I honestly played out the first one... it had way too many scratches! Thanks eBay for bringing back one of my favorite albums! STL

  • NIN - BROKEN CD

Trent Rezner continues year after year, CD after CD to continue his trek through the electrical genre and create new sounds; angry but always pertinent lyrics. He never has concerns about being "politically correct". I consider this a good thing as he says things as he sees them and often, that is a reflection of the world and the constant changes in regardless of whether they are perceived as positive or negative.
