Easy to use
Feels more like what I am used too!
Nintendo wireless Pro Controller feels more like an Xbox or PS4 controller as far as size, handling, comfortability! That thing that comes with the Switch console is awkward and feels too small and buttons out of place. However that being said, my wife likes it do to the fact that it is small and fits her small hands better! If you are used to playing other console brands and have large hands, THIS IS THE CONTROLLER FOR TOU!

terrible d pad, forget platformers and fighting games.
It is the best non joy con controller, however despite all of the glowing praise, the d pad on this controller is a horrible myopic design, not only does it register some input error by design, it feels terrible it is big and mushy and based on the joy con 4 button “dpad” and this being conpletely unsuitable for fighting and platorming genres. Even with use in zelda changing weapons etc it feels like garbage. This is not a defect my friend had a pro and we compared them, it’s a poor design, with a trash dpad put into a $90cad controller. Nintendo have historically had some of the best dpads especially on handhelds. Why people fall over themselves saying this is gods gift is beyond me. the analogs feel better than ps4 everything else is worse save battery life. basically means all the best 3rd party indies i will have to buy on ps4. wish i hadn’t bought hollow knight. home buttton is awkward as well after using the joy cons. And no analog triggers. it would be a 4 if it wasn’t priced over the top. frankly i am disappointed in Nintendo.

Very nice, good quality controller. It charges with a USB c cable which is nice that it uses the type connector. It feels like a good quality controller and fits well in your hands. It is definitely a great controller for those long gaming sessions!

World class controller!
If you can afford this pro controller, it is totally worth it. It has great look, a great feel in hand, and makes extended gaming sessions a breeze. I have three of these now for my four person family and will be buying 1 more soon. You can use this controller on the go as well, if you'd prefer to leave the joycons as eye candy. Other cheaper wireless controllers are out there and they are good. But those more often than not don't have the 'HD vibration' function, the gyroscopic control(the motion control) , or NFC capability which gives you the ability to utilize your amiibo through the pro controller. The former 2 are required for some in game functionality. That's what makes the pro controller a complete package. They are beginning to pop up a bit cheaper than the $70 they originally retailed at (I got my 3rd one for $56) but are completely worth getting if you plan on playing the Switch alot.
