    Oct is a professional tool that stands it time and time again.in today's industry you need a high quality tool that you can relie on for accuracy and performance just like snap on and match tools.if you are spending money to make money with your tools buy the best there are a lot cheaper tools out there but it's all china junk or one use throw away.otc stands behind there products and are of the highest quality.     Best comp tester IMHO

    I was disappointed in an older name brand compression tester I own as it appeared to read low and inconsistent. Purchased this unit and tested it against two others in my shop. Results were higher and more consistent readings. Having a protective case is also important to safeguard test equipment. Would recommend to those who want to accurately know the compression pressure for diagnosis.

    Surprisingly long

    I did not notice in the picture the length of the hose on the gauge. Bought this to replace my Matco one which has about a 12” hose compared to a 26” hose being a small engine mechanic that long of a hose is a little over kill. But the gauge is great quality it doesn’t get the bouncing going on like the Matco and even Mac ones do that I have had in the past
