|Play a warlord in a Japanese feudal-era setting in Pokemon Conquest for the Nintendo DS. Developed by Koei in 2012, this unique game takes you to the world of Ransei, where you are accompanied by an Eevee, a rabbit-eared Pokemon that resembles a fennec fox. Your goal, as warlord of the region of Aurora, is to unite the 17 kingdoms of the region through conquest, and to do this you must defeat a series of warlords and add them to your party. This game is different from other games in that every Pokemon is only capable of using a single move. When all regions have been united, you will then have the chance to face the legendary Pokemon who created the world of Ransei.|

This game is a surreal experience and extremely bizarre crossover that seems to actually work pretty well. Some of the pokemon who are paires with some of the samurai warrior characters are a bit unusual but the gameplay more than makes up for it and does the trick for any fan of strategic rpg style gameplay. This game came out a bit late in the ds life cycle and probably would have been more compelling if made for the 3ds with a more militaristic army of soldiers and pokemon mechanice but that is all that holds this game back. This game lacks absolutely nothing for a 3ds game.

I rented this game a while after it was released and came to like it and decided to wait a while on purchasing it and just didn't get around to purchasing it until a month ago and liking how it performs and the codes still work.

Ok, but not awesome.
It's OK, although buying it now, that we have Pokémon X and Pokémon Y is a bit silly... Buy it if you are going to play it just when you are bored, but don't expect a BIG game, because it's not. You start with Eevee, and you can catch other Pokémon like Arceus...
