Good image quality
Works good but may need some color correction
Not sure if it's due to electrolytic capacitors going bad over time or if the unit just adds a green tint to the DVD it's recorded. It plays VHS tapes great and the image quality is adequate for being 480i (even the color is fine). Other DVD's played on the unit look fine, but I've had to tweak the video after importing it to the computer with DaVinci Resolve. I might replace the capacitors myself since I have them -- otherwise, it's a great device to archive an otherwise dead format. I've done about 7 tapes thus far and am very happy for the unit for the price.

Samsung DVD Recorder 320
Everything is fine. I used to own this 320 model and it went bad before I could finalize important disks. Now they're finalized (they can play on any DVD). All except the one I wanted to do the most. 38 years of memories of teaching HS. I probably got hold of a bad Memorex disk. Recorder is fine and works exactly as I remembered. Remote sent was not for this machine, but I still had my old Samsung remote. Worth the hundred I paid.
