    automotive necessity

    makes the road trip something special. last weekend I took my wagon out for a long drive & copied a 7 CD boxed set to a disk [the audio system can play WAV files]; no audio breakup looking for the satellite signal, no scanning for radio stations, even traffic became bearable. USB 2.0 interface does a great job on this application; our other late model car will only play MP3 files & by my estimate, the mini drive will be able to store about 1750 song titles. with the car audio system's ability to randomize the playback, I'm going to need reminder calls to get to my destination. definitely makes driving fun.

    New generation of this model is more reliable

    This generation of this ultra compact, high capacity USB flash drive is the first in this model where SANDISK replaces a good bit of metal with plastic construction material. The previous generation's more metal overheated my unit and the drive failed after less than 4 months of use. This is my second of the new generation of the new version and it has been working with no errors for several months. Looks like SANDISK got it right!

    Great tiny sandisc!

    Great price for real quality sandisc. short length is excelent for my car radio. I dont ever need to worry about it breaking. But maybe not the right choice for moving files about as the tiny size makes it realy easy to loose -so this one may be best to leave plugged inn. I highly recomend this stick!
