Great soldering stand
I bought this soldering stand after I burned my hand with my soldering iron because my old stand was junk and obviously not safe. The new soldering stand is absolutely great and worth its money! It is solid metal, has a heavy base so it won't tip over and two coils of steel that will prevent any kind of accidential burns from the hot iron tip. It comes in two pieces and you only have to fix a screw to put it together. This is also nice because it takes up less space if you want to store it. Very Nice Holder.
I've been using this Soldering Iron HOLDER for a few days now and I like it. I had some extra left over Harbor Freight Wheels weights lying around, so I stuck a few on the base. I don't know if it really needed it or if it really made any difference, but I have no problems with the base moving.

Good holder but needs more weight
Holds the iron ok... but the base needs to be heavier since it moves away unless you're very careful to put the iron in gently. Will add a steel or lead plate to it.
