Excellent recorder
Excellent product. Use for recording meetings and it's small size makes carrying it easy. Sound recording is of high quality. These items are hard to come by and when you do, the price is too costly. Able to obtain these at a reasonable price.

Broken Upon Arrival
Cassetts init was described as "microcassete" recorder but was actually a standard size cassette unit. Unfortunately, after I bought a 6 pack of normal sized cassettes and fresh batteries, I found the unit did not evev work. The "reverse" button was inoperable. Useless purchase all around.

A great tool,
This is a great little cassette recorder. I'm a song writer, and often, when the muse visits, I need to get the sound, or lyrical ideas down right away, or risk loosing them forever. My muse is rather fickle that way. I would have given it 5 stars except there is no auto stop in FF / Rewind modes. It only auto stops on Play. I've been using recorders like this since the '70's, and this one is is great, except for the above. Naturally, it ain't high fidelity with its tiny speaker, but through phones, it sounds better than many I've had. I bought one, and then after getting it, I bought a second. Since digital recorders don't allow for quick review, and many frankly just hold too much, I'll stick to cassette as long as I can. I prefer 15 minute cassettes, for the same reason I don't like ... Great replacement and easy to use!
this recorder works well with my dictation equipment...I am old school and this recorder is perfect for my needs. It is simple and easy to use, has great clarity with speech, all of the functions for playback . I, very happy to have found this one to replace my old recorder.
