Re-watching these highlights is worth it...
The Best of American Idol dvd is entertaining and full of talented singers worthy of a second look. While the second dvd relating to the Worst of American Idol is mixed with humorous moments, as well as painful minutes that aren't worth revisiting. Simon's blunt comments on contestants, while accurate, are frequently hurtful and unnecessary. Even contestants with limited singing abilities have certain rights that shouldn't be trampled upon for the alleged goal of entertainment or misplaced humor. Cruel humor in Elementary School days (ie. calling a fat kid fat) is hurtful and never worth the laugh.
I enjoy this DVD set & its wroth value
I have been watching American Idol since its debut this brings back memories when the show started good & bad & this well worth $$$$$$$$ I paid for it
Money’s worth
As advertised, entertaining, will be of value for years to come.

This is a great dvd for anyone who may just start watch
It will bring you up to date on everything in the last 4 years , let you get to know Randy, Paula and Simone's attitudes and ways. It was really enjoyable to go back and see al the Idols from past shows, along with the outtakes on some that did not make it.. you will laugh and really injoy the music and stories of all of these idols and would be Idols. I highly recommend this DVD .
THE BEST AND WORST OF AMERICAN IDOL SEASONS 1-4 DVD
There are 3 dvds in this package. The fist one is the best because of the singing variety of those who won each season and their auditions.Expect an overload of the idol judges, especially Paula Abdul on the last dvd.The last dvd was a gigantic disappointment for me because I bought the package expecting to see much more of my favorites but in fact it centers around Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice.As I said before,Expect to consider the first dvd worth the price of the entire package.
