dead zone - season six review
This show, was an amazing show, up until this season. First, they got rid of bruce; then, they killed off walt and got a new kid to play JJ; and as a finale they had johnny's brain injury (which happened because of a car accident) be inherited to JJ. However, even with all those changes the show was still pretty good and I looked forward to watching it on Sunday; I especially liked how they kept the mystery of the season going through until the series finale (complete with a game on the website). While this season may not have been a fans greatest dream, the flashback scenes and and the HD computer work used to make the viewer feel like they were wooshing to where Johnny was never ceased to amaze me. But as with any show, the leaving/changing of all those lead characters (ie. chris bruno, ... This show, was an amazing show, up until this season. I LOVE THE DEAD ZONE SERIES AND WAS SAD THAT IT ENDED, HOWEVER, I WAS SAD TO SEE WALT DIE. I FEEL HE WAS SUCH AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER IN THIS SERIES AND I KNOW THAT HIM DYING IS WHAT ENDED THIS SERIES. SO MANY SERIES END BECAUSE OF A MAJOR CHANGE IN CHARACTERS, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD LEARN THIS. I SEE IT HAPPEN OVER AND OVER. BACK ON TRACK. I HAD EVERY SEASON BUT THIS ONE, THAT IS WHAT LED ME TO BUY IT. I LOVE SHOPPING ON EBAY BECAUSE I CAN PURCHASE ITEMS WAY BELOW RETAIL, MOST OF THE TIME, AND THIS SEASON COMPLETED MY SERIES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SEASON, AS ALL THE OTHERS, SO IF YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE IT JUMP ON IT. THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND IN STORES SO EBAY IS MY RECOMMENDED SOURCE FOR DVDs. ENJOY HASSLE FREE, RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR SERVICE AND PICK THIS UP, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO STOP WATCHING.

If you have, or have seen the other five seasons of the dead zone then this is a must have. This wraps up several of the story lines form earlier seasons, and provides a reasonable ending for the series. However, there is a reaon that this is the last season. Several of the main characters are gone or written out of the script, while others have been replaced by different actors. Although several of the story lines are resolved throughout the season there is no real feeling of finality, and the series bigest questions still aren't completely answered. They definately left it open for another season. While the Dead Zone team could have made this an awesome season which capped off and resolved the entire series, they seem to have gotten greedy and churned out another season where nothing new ... If you have, or have seen the other five seasons of the dead zone then this is a must have. They moved for this?
Disc one gets you interested, disc 2 is seemingly a filler and disc 3 almost makes it across the line. I have been a devout DZ fan for every season. this season has left me wondering why they bothered spending all the money to move across Canada to set up shop again when this season falls short of anything other than getting rid of most of the cast and closing them off. I could have written a better season which would have given the show great intensity and closure, "if thats what they were looking for". For now we are left in the air still with unanswered questions. Hopefully they don't go the way of the spin off with the new JJ character before exploring what has the potential to be a great finale for Johnny, purdy and stillson if they are willing to get some real creative juices ... Totally Awesome
I love it. It kept me wanted to watching it from the beginning of the its end. A lot of it was about want really is happening in our real world too. I loved it....I wished it did not have ended...
