    An outstanding movie with all-encompassing title.

    This is the original version of this film. The characters are all outstanding as is the movie as a whole. The remake was terrible. I highly recommend this film to one and all.

    Hello Goodbye Girl

    Timelessness; It's what makes a contemporary film an instant classic. The Classic movies today belong to Marvel Studios and Disney. The ingredient of Timelessness is what The Goodbye Girl is about. Two unlikely people connect and find they can't do without each other. The tale is as old as time itself and yet here's a late 1970's flick that my kids (they're young adults) find enjoyable. The reason some of the chick flicks of today will never hold a candle to The Goodbye Girl is because they serve up Timelessness and it tastes like 'old hat'. So it's not just the story; it's how it is told. If you have never seen the Goodbye Girl, treat yourself to Love in New York City, 1970' s style - It will be like you were there. By the way - I got my disc quick and in perfect condition.

    Don't say "goodbye" to this gem!

    This is the original "Goodbye Girl", with Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason in the lead roles. I am not a big fan of "chick flicks", but this is a very well-written story with plenty of humor and drama. I also like the "feel" of late 70's New York City when the story takes place. Definitely a feel-good movie with a touch of romance.

    Makes me cry every time!

    I absolutely just love this movie! Neil Simon is such a phenomenal writer and this movie is one of his best. I'm glad I was able to find it for such a reasonable price. I received it in good quality and well boxed.

    Great Classic Style Romance Movie. Simple heart felt movie! Emotional and well acted. One of those movies that will be in your mind long after you see it. The song that ends the movie will cause a tear in your eye!
