    Last of the Mohicans, One of the most engaging movies I have ever seen and now one a Blu-Ray copy

    I have liked this movie very much from the time it was released, but had not had the opportunity to see it again until recently on broadcast TV. I desired to own a Blu-ray copy of the movie. I played it once received and enjoyed it very much. Regards, WallyWatts.

    DVD version overall MUCH BETTER than Blu-Ray

    Blu-Ray version has better sound and somewhat sharper images than DVD version, but it is MUCH darker, making most of the forest and nighttime scenes poorly visible. They also changed the final scene completely--apparently to make it more 'politically correct' for today.

    Arguably the best movie I have ever seen.

    One of the best movies I have ever seen. It shames me to say that I never watched this in the first 22 years of my life. Does a great job balancing many different aspects, including nature, fight scenes, and of course the love story. What is great about it is that the love story isn't overbearing or sappy. The movie does a great job building up emotional value to the point that you genuinely feel many of the same emotions that the characters go through. Also the soundtrack is incredible. There is a song called Promentory that makes the movie that much better. As far as the actual product itself, the blu-ray truly makes a difference. I first watched this movie on netflix and I was blown away by the story, but there were many nature scenes that were kind of blurry or pixelated. When I ...
