Nothing Secret about how great this film is!
I remember reading the book this film is based off of when I was in middle school. I loved the book so I was really looking forward to seeing how the movie was made. The actors did a great job performing the character roles and I felt like they translated the book to screen very well. I’ve been looking for this film for a while so I could add it to my collection. Really happy I did!

Not James Thurber's Walter Mitty
This is not James Thurber's Walter Mitty. It's a lot more. It's the story of a man who has sacrificed his dreams to do the right thing for his family. He's become meek over the years and daydreams (zones out) a lot. He's attracted to a new lady at the office. But doesn't know what to do about it. Due to circumstances arising because of a missing picture negative that was supposed to be the cover shot for Life magazine's final issue, Walter becomes the man he was supposed to be. There is humor, adventure, a love story and some amazing scenery as Walter goes around the world to track down the photographer. It's a little slow in spots, but it's a very enjoyable movie.This is not James Thurber's Walter Mitty. It's a lot more. Fun Movie
This is a Fun Movie and good for all ages. What good old Walter has to go through is one wild adventure and he comes out a Winner. Worth watching more than once and nice to have in your movie library.
