    Surprising how much history has gone into this book, and I have been compelled to further research points of history for further depth into the personalities and points of history. Easy just to read about just a few colors at a time and ponder. Good stuff for any lover of color, design, history and/or art.

    The secret lives of color

    After seeing the movie The Pearl Earring the subject of pigment for art work intrigued me. The Secret Lives of Color answered the question of source as well as socioeconomic impact. I enjoyed every color's story.
