Makes you wonder what really happened
This book is hilarious! want to know what really happened to the pigs?? My Husband told me about this book and he tried to buy it from Barnes and Nobel on several occasions and they never had it in. I went to a small local bookstore and wasnt sure of the title so they couldnt even look it up and they had no idea what I was talking about just by a description. That led me to ebay. All I had to do was type in some words that I knew were in the title and I found it within seconds. It was also about $12 cheaper on ebay, and I got it within days.MY kids LOVE this book! So funny.
The True Story of Jon Scieszka
Jon Scieszka (Scieszka, rhymes with Fresca) is my hero, and my cousin. He has taken the publishing world and children's books by storm. We will call him Hurricane Jon. Every book he has had published is a treasure; from his Time Warp Trio to this first book published of the three little pigs and A. Wolf to Seen Art? If you have children, or you are child-like, check out his books. You will not be disappointed. If you love short stories that will make you howl, pick up Guys Write for Guys Read and read his contribution. You will be laughing out loud! The True Story of the Three Little Pigs is told from the wolf's perspective -- he was framed. Don't we all feel that way sometimes. "It's not my fault" seems to be a mantra in today's world. But in this case, it may just be true, as noted in the title. Read this book and see how A. Wolf comes to terms with the opportunities placed before him. Then, when you have finished digesting this story, head out to eBay and type in Stinky Cheese Man, or The Book That Jack Wrote, or The Frog Prince Continued, or Henry P. Baloney, or Squids Will Be Squids, or Science Curse, or Math Curse, or Seen Art? These are books to be read, and re-read, and enjoyed for years to come. Okay, so I may be a little prejudice when it comes to Jon's stories; after all I am family. But read for yourself and you will become a strong believer in his humor, his slant on life, his opposite view as a situation unfolds and his mostly "happily ever after" endings. The True Story of Jon Scieszka? The true story is he is a gem in today's children books authors and, the true story of what I want? I want him to write for many years to come. Enjoy!
The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs (1996, Paperback, R
THIS IS THE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS AND THE BIG BAD WOLF. BUT THE STORY IS BEING RETOLD BY THE WOLF WHO IS IN JAIL AND CLAIMS HE WAS FRAMED. THIS STORY IS VERY FUNNY AND HELPS CHILDREN UNDERSTAND ABOUT BEING A "VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE, BEING IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME, HOW THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEMED TO BE AND HOW THERE ARE ALWAYS TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY." AT THE END YOU CAN JUDGE FOR YOURSELF, IF THE WOLF IS GUILTY OR NOT. A MUST READ. EVERYONE WILL ENJOY THIS BOOK. I READ IT TO MY FOUR YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS HE DID IF NOT MORE.
