Cable Works Well After Clearing Up Driver Problems
I'm using this cable to program an Icom IC-2300H using CHIRP software on a Windows 10 PC. After finding out how to back date the driver to version 3.2.0.0 and make it stay as such, the cable works fine. (Disabling automatic Windows updating helped.) A CD is provided with the cable but it is of no apparent use. It has no information with it. Some files on the CD are 10 years old and others are labeled in Chinese or another Asian language. Item claims to fit IC-2200H. It does not. Cable plug is wrong size, and the driver cd would not work either! Save your money and look elsewhere.
