    Works great on a Macbook Pro.

    Works straight out of the box. Used it for testing some IP Cameras on an older Macbook Pro that didn't have network connection. No software problems. Good quality solid build.

    Good for Fast Ethernet speeds but not Gigabit speeds.

    On multiple computers, using USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports with different operating systems, I was never able to achieve more than 106Mbps on a 300Mbps plan. Plugging the same network cable into the Gigabit LAN port on the notebook provided 310Mbps Down. Simple does not do gigabit speeds as indicated.

    You pay for what you get.

    Very Flakey!! Plugged it in and the very first time it worked like it should. From that point on, I have to plug and unplug the device 6-10 times before the OS recognizes it. Very annoying.
