    Excellent Music!

    The movie was great with big name stars and fantastic music. Yes Lee Marvin really sings a song and it's great! Get the CD, get the DVD and enjoy! Once you see the movie you can appreciate the music even more. It's raucous, wild and just a bit crazy. This is well worth it and was in great condition for me.

    A Great Soundtrack for a Great Movie!

    This movie, although kind of panned at its debut, has gained a small cult following over the years. Including me. I like this silly little movie! And so, I had to have the soundtrack. Say what you like, but it has Harve Presnell (he played the dad who gets shot on top of the parking structure in Fargo) singing Maria, which was a HUGE hits in the 60's and early 70's. I also love the subtly of the first track. I slowly fades up from nothing, just as in the movie. It makes you think that there is something wrong with your CD player. Until you remember that is how it supposed to be. If you love musical movies, you have to have this CD in your collection!

    i was born under a wandering star

    If you love musicals, and you really like Clint Eastwood, and cowboy movies, this cd is for you, i have the movie, I just wanted the music to relax too but this toe tapper foot stompen wild west singing is a great hoot.. from pass me down my can of beans, to i was born under a wandering star, who can not forget the haunting words of Mira,feeling a little down, play theres a coach comming in or whoo ti ay shivaree and you will be up and dancing in no time. I would put this right up there with Oklahoma and Oh brother where art thou when it comes to musical conten..dang right yeee haw

    Simply some great western songs you'll remember for a long time!!

    Doesn't matter if movie was a musical or not. It's simply just great music (depending on your age). Movie from 1969; I can picture the actors singing as I listen to the CD. Also depends on what type of music you like. Maria always a great song! Go to amazon or some other site and test-listen to a few or the songs on this CD and you'll probably "love it" as I did. Enjoy!!

    Good but not as good as it could of been

    While the songs are sung by the same cast as the movie I think they were done in a studio at a later time so they sound just slightly different. Still a great set of songs!
