    Great chainsaw for home use

    Much better and more powerful than my old Homelite plug-in chainsaw that burned out due to being only 9 amps and underpowered. No end guard on this bar so plunge cuts are a breeze. The handbrake is a great safety feature not found on my previous chainsaw. Also, the chain tensioner cap that stays connected to cover is great, instead of a wingnut falling into the grass and being impossible to find. The blade cover is also a plus! Overall, a much better design, more powerful, and longer chain bar than a similarly priced Homelite chainsaw. Worx needs to ship these better - mine came in an oversized box that was half open, with no packaging material to keep it safe. Luckily, it was undamaged.

    The WORX brand 16" chainsaw is by far the best option for electric chainsaw

    After Hurricane Sally this was a life saver! Came early and was basically ready to use out of the box! I absolutely recommend the Worxx products! I already own extension cord for days and its worth not having to deal with the constant maintenance of a gas powered 2stroke chainsaw! I have owned a worxx blower for years and this only further solidifies my confidence in this company and their products!

    Excellent chain saw

    Was a bit dubious about electric saws, having had gas powered saws previously. Most are about 8 amps, and are good for trimming. But this little thing is a tiger. Perfect for bucking, where you don't want to keep laying down a running gas saw. Have recently been dismembering a huge water oak and couldn't wish for anything better. Fraction of the cost of a gas saw too.

    Top Quality Saw

    This is replacing an older 1.5 HP electric saw for yard work. This WORX saw is a huge improvement in power, a real beast! It is easily equal to my Poulan 16' gas saw but much lighter, and easier to start! The WORX was factory refurbished but looks new! I just may need to get rid of my gas powered saw! You will need to get some chain and bar oil as my refurbished saw did not come with any. Do not run the saw without filling the oil reserve. Be sure to wear eye protection and pay attention. Don't cut your own electric cord! Read the Manual First!
