The range on this extender is good however the receiver sensitivity is not as good as a camera that I am using. I mounted both of them about 5 ft apart with the extender closer to my router. The camera connects to the WiFi that I want to extend however this extender is very interment. I added different longer range antennas to my router which didn't seem to help. My WiFi range finder shows a good transmitted signal at about an additional 400 ft but little receiver result.

First let me say the company SINOBRY is great! these folks have been a great help/ That said, This is probably the worst wireless routers I have ever seen. 200 feet away at 20 feet elevation. High power my butt Getting 680kbps. Tried to update firmware 3 times, warm reboot, old firmware, Hard reboot, same firmware. will not update. will not change power, acts like it is trying, always comes back with medium power. My old Netgear WNR2000 works with the same cable 20mbps+ at 200 feet 10 feet elevation.. I do not say this often, and I ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt, But even the WAVLINK website will not even let you register the router. I fear the company WAVLINK is a fly by night company. Expect to see these pieces of garbage being sold out of trunks of cars at a grocery store parking lot soon. I hope someone can change my mind about this piece of garbage.

Poor wireless receiver. Don't get it if you plan on using it as a repeater.
Trying to use it as a wireless repeater to extend my home network. Sets up just fine inside my house. But outside just a little way away from the house it can't find my wireless network even though my phone and tablet have no problems connecting to the same network in the same location. Does not do me any good if I have to have it right at the house in order to make it work.

Great repeater at a decent price.
I initially bought mine for broadcast around the house as a repeater ,I found out it works on my property with multiple cameras in all of my out buildings in a 300 yard radius .it was more than I expected. I would recommend it for anyone that needs it as mid range repeater. or access point.

Hi powered WiFi rf modem which can also be programmed to a lower power which I like because everyone in the neighborhood tried to log into my WiFi for a several of blocks or more away. Bought this device so that my wife can use WiFi in the backyard. I also like that it is waterproof, has Lighting protection with a ground wire option and be used outdoors. Several of these WiFi modems would cover a complex / campus / free internet in a neighborhood in the 2.4G / 5G WiFi internet.
