Buy earlier version of Here I Go Again
I was burning a compilation of Deep Purple & related stuff. I bought it for the one song “Here I Go Again”. Then I found out that the band had also recorded the song previously on an earlier album. That version included Jon Lord, the keyboardist for DP! The earlier version is actually better. The rest of this album did not impress me at all. I’m just not into this band.

Whitesnake Just Rocks, Man!
I first bought this CD when it was released in the mid-80's. It rocked. I still love this pop metal sound, as do many younger people these days. Unfortunately I let my drummer borrow the CD and the idiot kept it. I fired the drummer and found this cd on Ebay (much to my pleasure). Thank you Ebay and the seller! I can rock to "Still of The Night" again! This CD features John Sykes on guitar, who had been in Thin Lizzy and later went on to form Blue Murder. Aynsley Dunbar was the drummer. He has played with everybody but God. Of course some folks would just remember the song "Here I Go Again" on this CD (a remake of an earlier version of the song from "Saints An' Sinners". Overall this album has balls and yet is slick and shiny in production. Not easy to do, especially in ... I first bought this CD when it was released in the mid-80's. It rocked. A Classic WhiteSnake album at the epitome of the Hair Metal/Hard Rock scene. No collection should be without this CD. The songs are well written, keyboards beautifully arranged, great vocal work, and some of the finest guitar solos ever constructed. Some consider this to be John Sykes best work. I grew up watching the vids on MTV, well what used to be MTV, RIGHT??? Awesome vids still today, they have stood the test of time. My neice which is only 17 is a big fan of WhiteSnake also, and their song, "Here I Go Again". You can't deny the Raw power & talent of this band. It has Great recordings & Musicianship...A+++A Classic WhiteSnake album at the epitome of the Hair Metal/Hard Rock scene. No collection should be without this CD. This self-titled release from Whitesnake features such terrific, classic 90's hard rock tracks as Still of the Night, Here I Go Again, Give Me All Your Love & Is This Love. With David Coverdale on lead vocals and John Sykes (formerly of THIN LIZZY) on lead guitar, with an appearance by Adrian Vandenberg on guitar as well, this Cd is a real gem for hard rock fans. Coverdale sounds great and the songs are well crafted, full of great guitar work and raunchy, sex-laden lyrics, it's a classic 90's hard rock production.
