    Lean On Me: The Best of Bill Withers

    Even though I am a C&W kinda guy (Tennessee is home to me), I have crossed over to other genres on specific occasions. I have listened to Bill Withers over the years and when I listen to him work his magic especially with "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone", I grow melancholy over past unrequited loves. It is unfortunate that he did not receive the credit he deserved in his career. There is little to dislike about his ability as demonstrated on this collection. I decided to buy it because I felt the time was right and the offer was more than reasonable.

    LEAN ON ME

    I was looking for "Lean on Me" for a compliation CD I was making for my car. I was pleasantly surprise by the quality of this album. There were so many familiar cuts that I had forgotten or had not attributed to Bill Withers. Happily after I played this a few times I recognized "Lovely Day" as the tune in a contemporary commmercial. The ebay service and merchant was up to the usual high standard. Great Purchase.

    Bill Withers is smooth n his music has heart..So to those who like soul rhythm n blues This man worked hard n still kicking at 80 good to know! a must add to music collections...favorite song Use me up ...put some volume. .

    THE BEST OF BILL WITHERS, A MUST HAVE FOR ANY REAL MUSIC LOVER!

    Amazing, This CD has so many great songs. Bill Withers is an American Icon with a voice that brings back memories that warm the heart. He can sing the love songs with heart and soul that leaves you wondering where all the truly great artists have gone. The songs, the incredible group of musicians surrounding him and a voice that is smooth as silk. Amazing!
