About this product

Product Information

The war for survival of the planet Lusitania will be fought in the heart of a child named Gloriously Bright. On Lusitania, Ender found a world where humans and pequininos and the Hive Queen could all live together; where three very different intelligent species could find common ground at last. Or so he thought. Lusitania also harbors the descolada, a virus that kills all humans it infects, but which the pequininos require in order to become adults. The Startways Congress so fears the effects of the descolada, should it escape from Lusitania, that they have ordered the destruction of the entire planet, and all who live there. The Fleet is on its way, a second xenocide seems inevitable. Xenocide is the third novel in Orson Scott Card's Ender Quintet. Not as advertised. Book came from some library, if I wanted to steal a library book there’s one a few miles from my house. Automated customer service, little to no help. Tracking information wasn’t provided until I mentioned asking for a refund. Completely different edition of the book than what I expected upon viewing the picture and the description. Wouldn’t order from this seller again. Book ordered on the 26th of October & received it on the 6th of November although it was “shipped” the 26th

  • Xenocide by Orson Scott Card

Xenocide is the 3rd book in the Award Winning Ender Series. It is most certainly a different read from the previous two books. In my personal opinion, Xenocide was more difficult to get through then any other book in the series. However, I STRONGLY recommend keeping at it to the end, you will be glad that you did. The Size of Xenocide can be overwhelming, but buy the middle of the book you begin to wonder how they could ever finish it with only that much left. New Worlds, along with new characters will be introduced. There are truly so many exciting story lines going on, that you won't want to wait to see what happens next. The story of an additional Main character is simultaneously told in an interweaving adventure of science, faith, and the mysteries of the universe. The connection ...
