For those of us who still value qualtiy video of your family, friends and special events i personally continue to use my Sony video 8 Handycam for all of those special occasions. In this digital age this format still remains heads above the rest. The video 8 format offers excellent video quality when replaying on your smart tv's. I have several camera's as well as the sony equipment to process all of my videos to dvd format to make this video format easier and more fun to watch using a standard dvd player. Older people my age are discovering that transferring there videotapes can come back to life after i transfer there video 8 tapes to dvd format
