carrying case is destroyed not small cosmetic damage
Product description says small cosmetic damage on box, well on one side there is a 3in round perforated crack in case lid from eye piece being crushed and the case is unusable if you try to pick up using carrying handle the whole case opens up and the eye pieces could fall out because the whole length of the hinge is broken off, case is unusable i was expecting maybe a few scratches but this is unacceptable especially as a Christmas gift
