Much easier than the tear drop flask I think. Stand up allowed easy reloading of cylinder unless you are on horseback. Preloading at table easy peasy. With the purchase of additional Measuring tubes quick change out for other pistols or change from ball to conical bullets. Love shooting muzzle loaders.
