Took this camera overseas for a week long holiday. Took amazing pictures. Spin dial on the back is easy to scroll through the taken photos. Having taken over 500 shots, it was easy to jump using a great feature: jump 10 shots, 75 shots, etc. The only problem that I encountered was that it ate through 6 sets of AA batteries. I managed to extend the life a bit of them by turning off the 'review' feature of the LCD screen. It allows a 5 second, 2 second or "no" review of each picture taken. That big screen will eat the batteries. Luckily, batteries are cheap, but I hate to throw away expensive Enegizers every 75 shots. The camera is a bit heavier than most point and shoots, but feels comfortable in the hand. The nylon camera strap needs a small locking slider to allow you to tighten it onto your wrist (available at any fabric store) The 'face recognition' mode is great and works well as long as the people are standing at the same distance from the camera. Have only used the 'movie' mode twice. Given the state of the battery life, I'd be afraid to use it for more than a few second's worth of 'video'. I have a 'Flip Video' that is easier on the batteries and the sound quality is better. The features are many, and the pitfalls are few. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to have plenty of features.Read full review
I bought it mostly for the optical zoom. At 10x I find that the images are sharp. The stabilization works, even in poor lighting conditions, like a cloudy day. It is very easy to use, and I have the option of manual control if I want or need that. There are enough automated options to cover any situation I am likely to encounter. I appreciate the fact that the camera is light and fairly compact. AA batteries are a definite plus-- good rechargeable AA's are widely available. The camera's menus are easy to navigate-- set up is simple. It is a good camera for opportunistic photography, taking photos on the fly. I'm quite happy with it. 8 megapixels are quite adequate for a reasonable print, say 11 by 17.

This camera takes very good pictures that are crisp and clear. Downside is that it uses aprox 1 set of batteries per aprox 50 pictures taken. Otherwise an excellent camera with compact size and ease of use. I bought camera for a back up as my wife and I have 3 35mm canon cameras and 1 sony dual meda camera that uses a floppy disk and a memory stick to record pictures on. my overall grade for this camera is very good and worth the money!
But I REALLY can not say enough about the seller. I have never seen a better wrapped item in my life! And the camera was new. It was listed as used, and it MAY have been, but I don't believe it! It came with everything one would ever need to start taking photos. I need to sit down and read the manual and learn even more about it, or watch the dvd. But none the less, it was one of the best buys I have ever made on Ebay! This seller WINS the award for the best wrapping job I have EVER seen! I am one happy customer to say the very least. What a GREAT camera and what a caring seller. BRAVO!!!

Good camera for a reasonable price, great value! I like Power Zoom very much+++, both its Image Stabilizer.Face Recognising and Red-eye reducing are miracle... I dislike it has not an Optical viewfinder. The camera could be more steady with it and watching for the moving objects was simplier...Besides, the flash light is rather dumb...It overflashes faces on the close distance, but if you go far, the pictures are dark! Battery life is long- I've made 200+ pictures(30% with flash) using a couple of 2700 mAh Accus!
