bought my first one used, bought this one new, that should tell it all. It needs no extra download to be compatible with windows XP-Windows 7 and maybe even windows 10, guess I should have tried it. the only complaint I have is that light purple shows as light blue. Video and sound are real good as are the stills. I gave away two higher priced camera and video camera and kept my A1455 until I screwed it up that is why I had to by this new one. Fits in my shirt pocket as my smart phone will not do, another plus.

Good cheap camera uses AA batteries
I have owned more than 10 of these. I like them THAT much. The zoom works well, the video is pretty clear, the close-up setting is excellent, and most important to me, I can use rechargeable AA batteries in it. I probably average 8,000 to 12,000 images on each one before dropping it and the battery door on the bottom won't stay shut any more.
