Top shelf quality and sound….
This pre owned MP20 was in near mint condition and functions like new. It fulfills my need for a solid state stereo preamp in a single rack space. The IDSS control dials in audible “warmth” to the signal, whether utilizing the rear panel mic inputs or the front panel instrument inputs. A note here…the -20db pad appears to only function with the microphone input section. When using the instrument inputs, as the user manual instructs, care must be taken to not have too “hot” (loud/strong) signal. The unit has a very low noise floor at the audio levels I employ. As is common with Presonus products of this nature, the materials, construction and operational feel of the unit exudes quality in design and craftsmanship.
