Amazing Wireless Headset
At first when I received the device it was dead. It took a good hour to get enough charge for me to do a firmware update (since I was impatient and forced an update), and several attempts to get Bluetooth to work and voila everything works perfectly. I don’t see much of a difference between the sound profiles, but the noise canceling is great - not as good as my sennheisers, but that’s comparing a $150 headset to a $400 THATS made for amazing sound. Its bluetooth, and it connects to my One X perfectly. The sound quality is the same as the Microsoft Wired Gaming Headset, so don't expect a tremendous improvement of sound. Works great and super easy to use. uncomfortable after long sessions but I imagine any gaming headset would have the same issue. It could be improved by making it lighter to improve long term comfort. I love that my phone can be connected through bluetooth even while the headset is giving me game audio. Good sound. Surround works well with Xbox One. Turning characters in-game results in sounds moving around headset. Range is pretty limited and drops off fast if there are any obstacles (such as going into the next room). The auto/direct-connect is probably the best feature. My last headset was wireless, but needed to be connected to the TV's audio out, and a cord between headset and controller for chat. Great headset, Great value
For $100, this headset is great. Sounds great..a little bassy at times, but if you download the app and set it to signature sound for regular gameplay, it sounds amazing. I love being able to Bluetooth it to my phone and listen to Spotify while I play GTA in a party with my friends and I can hear everything crystal clear. My friends even told me I sound alot clearer than I did before. Definitely recommend these. I havent used the superhuman hearing since I dont really play shooters anymore, but it sounds like it would work. It basically removes a majority of the bass and increases the trebles. Amazing Sound Quality.
This headset is truly exceptional and has such clear audio. It's amazing for both gaming and banging your head to your favorite music. The only real issues I have is with the battery life and the Turtle Beach app. The battery only lasts up to 10 hours and you cannot plug and play... so once your headset is dead, you have to wait for it to charge before you can start using it again. The Turtle Beach app can be kind of atrocious. Sometimes I need to turn off my headset and turn it back on to get it to work, and sometimes I need to restart my phone entirely before it can connect. When you connect your headset to your Bluetooth-enabled device it doesn't always have the volume at the point you would want. Even at the point when the volume setting in your phone recommend that you turn it down due to possible hearing loss, the headset will seem quiet. If you connect to the Turtle Beach app and just quickly change the settings to bass boost or something like that it will reset the headset and play it at the appropriate sound level. So it's a headache having to go into the Turtle Beach app and click on a preset setting just to make sure that your headset is playing at an appropriate sound level for your Bluetooth device, and like I said before, that's if you can get the app to connect to your headset at all. I know it seems like I complained a lot there, but to me those are just minor inconveniences. I truly do recommend this headset, especially if you like playing games and listening to music at the same time. Once you get a hang of working with the minor design flaws, I don't think you'll necessarily regret your purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

My experience
The headset works pretty good in the sounds are what you would expect for the price. The only reason I did not give this product a full five star rating is because sometimes the music while gaming or listening to music cuts out randomly or slows down and becomes distorted. This happens pretty randomly and not too often but when it does it is very annoying I don't know what is causing an issue. The other reason was that the mic is pretty low because it is small. Product quit working with less than 15 hours of use
I purchased the headset for my girlfriends birthday. I received the item and it sat for about a week until she got to open it. Everything worked fine for a very light weeks worth of gaming. When the headset announced it was low on battery it hissed and the sound quit working. Yes I have charged it, there is a green indicator light that signifies it is powered on. Pairing this headset up to your devices, (Phone, console, Bluetooth device) is extremely easy. I love the fact that it connects directly to your xbox without having to turn anything else on or use up a USB 3.0 slot on the console itself. More room for my other devices like a external hard drive and my SSD. The sound quality with the windows sonic surround sound sounds great. I can hear my team mates greatly as well.
