High Quality bit bulky
So many mounts are cheap and nasty but the RAM is extremely high quality and there is no way for you phone to come loose even at very high speeds. I'm not sure if a smaller slimmer design is just my preference but I would like something less bulky. Very easy to fit. Very easy to achieve optimum viewing angle. Also easy to remove most of the holder when walking away from your bike so no ones steals it. Very happy with the product. Worth every penny
If you use your phone for gps on your bike this is the mount you should be using. I have an iPhone 8 Plus on a 2018 Honda CB1000R and it’s perfect. I had my doubts as soon as I unpacked the product, I have a S8+ with a LifeProof case and i was convinced it would not fit. I was wrong, it fits, barely but it does. After using the glue to secure the rubber grommets, installing was a piece of cake. Now, due to the size of the phone I wasn't sure it would hold it securely when riding the bike. I have no windshield but slowly and steadly the Ram held the phone up to 75 mph... I can honestly say that I ride with no worries once I secure the phone and use the elastic holder. I am very happy with the purchase. I use it on my 01 Road King, with a 1 1/4 inch handlebar.

This is a must have for any motorcycle! The Ram mount hold my Galaxy Note 8 perfectly!!! I could have opt'ed for a cheaper cell phone holder and maybe saved myself $5 or $10 bucks somewhere. Great mount. Mounts and releases a phone quickly. Holds fast at 180 mph and equally well bouncing around in the dirt. Also have one clamped to the bimini on my boat. The rubber tips can slide up so best to glue them on if you subject them to extreme conditions. Spares are available if you loose some and a wad of tape wrapped around the prong works if you are caught without a tip.
