It arrived in good shape. It works and appears new. Blade and manual included. Didn’t find warranty registration card or serial number on saw. The Dewalt site registered my purchase without requiring that info so perhaps things have changed. I don’t think this saw followed the normal commercial chain of events before reaching me, but I did get the saw I ordered as advertised for the best price I could find. It works. It’s registered. I’m happy about that. Having no experience yet actually using the tool I’m not prepared to give it a 5star bill of health until it’s been put through its paces .

I put this thing to the Cactus Jack test, I made a 8X8 chicken coop extender for brooder housing /pen. And the outlet was too far away from the job site. I cut 2x4, plywood, made furing strips. And the saw stayed right with me, but FYI a dull blade will shorten the battery life, it was very pleasant not fighting with the power cord! Yes this one is a winner 20V max 7-1/4 dewalt saw.

I like how much more use you get out of its battery packs and the fact that it uses a full size blade!! I’ve used the old 6” brushes saw for a long time. I’m hoping this one holds up as well as my other one has.

Arrived brand new in factory box. Very nice saw with plenty of power for any job, big or small. I wont own any power tools unless its dewalt. I own all the XR models. I recommend dewalt 100% to all that are looking for the best power tools ...Dewalt is the best in my book !!!

I purchased this saw because it is a 7 1/4" saw and the 7 1/4" blades are cheaper than the 6 1/2". So far I very happy with it performance. It cut right through a 4"x 6" with no problems. Did a small roof frame over a dog kennel with no problems. I have other De-Walt cordless tools so I can inter change batteries with them. De-Walt cordless tools are of good quality and I've been using them for many years now. The only drawl back to De-Walt skill saw are the safety switch can be a pain in the back side to press when using the saw i different positions and it's the same with my 6 1/2" De-Walt skill saw also. I don't know why they put a safety switch on cordless skill saw's when the corded skill saw's don't have one? So if you are in the market for 7 1/4" cordless skill saw you wont be disappointed with this saw. Also looking forward to De-Walt's release of there 7 1/4" worm drive saw. Read full review
