it works really well,fast & smooth. its level action makes the task effortless. its make or cast iron or metal of some sorts"mostly" ,steel bolts and screws. but with every good there's a little bit of bad... its clean up is OMG. about or near 12-15 bolts to undo for the clean up,then to re assemble every time you use it, food gets stuck in the blades and in the press and on the slide. so if you dont mind the creative clean up.its a wonderful asset to any kitchen.

So easy and fast to use! I make "zero guilt" fries in my air fryer. Cut up a bunch and store them in water in the fridge. Easy clean up. I don't take it apart, just pour soapy water on it, give it a few swipes, then spray it off with really hot water. Air dry completely before storing. I've used a commercial cutter, this is the same quality. Really heavy duty, sharp.

This cutter is built strong. It's not just a "gadget" ~ it's a Kitchen Hardware Machine. I found that I can also use it for cutting bell peppers, celery and onions into usable cubes. The action is smooth, the leverage is amazing and this cutter makes the job EASY ! ! Of course, everything has a down side. The cutting blades can be removed for cleaning by removing 3 Wing-Nuts, BUT the remainder of the assembly is difficult to clean. I was almost going to give this product four stars because of it's cleaning difficulty ~ but ~ the quality of the machine and it's ease-of-use more than make up for it's only down side. I recommend this product.
