Good but...
I really enjoy my transmitter; however, it requires batteries and can run down quickly if you accidentally leave it on. You also have to buy extra cords if you want to charge your phone and use this at the same time. I feel it’s a little fussy at times depending on how busy my day, plugging in and out. Better for a long drive if you have enough batter power on your phone. I do like that I can talk on the phone with it too. Found that out by surprise. Overall it is a great product, but I listen to my radio or cds just because of all the plugging in and out and turning off and on of the transmitter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well without getting in the way
This transmitter has many options for the channel to use, I used 87.7 mhz and it works very well. There are some remote powerful stations that when I drive to the top of a hill will enter some static but for the most part the sound is great. It uses 2 AAA batteries so does not need to plug into a power port leaving that for other devices. I use it in my GMC Envoy woth my Sandisk Sansa MP3 player. Great remedy for old stereos
I have a fantastic 1960s tube stereo/phono, but no aux inputs at all. I’d tried a Bluetooth receiver into the phono inputs via a splitter but it sounded horrible. This fm transmitter works surprisingly well, is small, and lets me listen to Spotify or Apple Music or podcasts in glorious tube sound with better-than-decent fidelity. Only quibble is no directions for changing the frequency -you have to visit the website. Not a huge deal, but it wouldn’t have been difficult to print a simple guide on the inside of the packaging. Uses 2 AAA batteries, and the 3.5mm stereo jack is small enough to work with my iPhone 6’s case.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Expected new product
I received my package today, it was cut with scissors so it could fit inside the bag, the wire was hanging out it was closed off with a small piece of tape. The wire to the base of the transmitter was cut. Deep Scratches on the face of the product. Definitely don't want to buy from again maybe it was just mine but not going to risk it. Great Product
The sound quality is of this transmitter is great. Probably the best form of auxillary that i have tried. Prefer this over the cassete auxillary adapters. I became annoyed by having to keep purchasing those because of the cable wearing out. This is so much better and i don't have to worry about an ugly cable hanging out of my car cassette slot. This transmitter actually has a good battery life. Forgot to turn it off a couple of times and it was still powered on after 8 hours. This is a great product at a very good price.
