High quality, durable and tough
Very impressed with this hand truck. The last one I had bent while trying to move a 100lb water softener. This beast moved it, also moved 25 - 16" x 16" cement stepping stones down the basement steps with no problem. It was heavier than I thought it was and while I couldn't have brought it up the steps it handled going down with no difficulty. It is a challenge to put together, the directions are not 100% clear so take your time putting it together. I suggest laying everything out and picture how it goes together. Works well but.....
I have purchased a few of these for my delivery business. While it’s advertised as rates for 770 lbs. , I can assure you this amount of weight cannot be placed on this piece of equipment consistently without the unit failing over time. Good product. It is light so doesn't add to the load. This new design makes up and down stairs a smoother ride, so you don't have to support the whole weight at any one time. On the other hand you always have to hold it back a tiny little bit, so you can't completely rest, but a much easier experience overall. Assembly isn't too bad, eight nuts and bolts, some washers and cotter pins, things fit together okay. Rolls easy, turns okay. Does what it is advertised to do. My daughter and I are both below average height and in good shape. We were able to move two medium sized bureaus/dressers up 2 flights of stairs. It definitely took effort and was a workout. Even with the 2 different handles we were bent over (the person at the top). Couldn’t tell you about going downstairs, but you would need someone strong to control that. As advertised, it is light and seems sturdy. Directions for assembly weren’t terrible.
