Great for smaller cookware.
It works great for pans under 9 inches. I tried to use to heat up 2 gallons of water in a stew pot. It took it just over an hour to heat the water up to 180 degrees but struggled to maintain 200 degrees. The power cord remained cool to the touch during this time and the area beneath the burner (counter top) only got slightly warm so it seems to be well built and safe. Warm coffee in the shop
I bought it to keep a pot of coffee warm in my work shop, It does that on the lowest setting, easy to operate, doesn't take any more space than the pot alone. We’ve all heard about a “tiny home” ...
Well this is a tiny home dream! I love being able to move it around when the mood strikes, lift with one hand to clean under ~ *** WAIT for it to cool! It does get incredibly hot all around. The burner is rigged, stays hot enough to finish off food when you’ve turned it off and the feet really do stick! A decent little hotplate that works perfectly and fits in nearly anywhere. So far, it works as perfectly as I'd expected.
