I picked this game up earlier this month, thinking it was the one with the create-a-wrestler mode I was greatly disappointed to learn it was in Fight for NY (which I'm winning right now :D), but upon further play, I've come to love this game the soundtrack is comprised entirely of hip hop & rap, which actually works for the games whole atmosphere. your friend Manny is injured and in debt to D-Mobb, head cheese of Def Jam. your only option is to come out of retirement to whoop some ass, and make some green. but things get complicated when you find out your old flame is with D-Mobb, resulting in you taking things further in the contest than Manny had wanted, as he urges you to stop before things get "too personal". you can customize your wrestler's attributes (and you get a couple outfits to choose from too), with each match you win you get money (more in season thanks to the fight purse), and you can also earn extra cash and build up your wrestler more for story mode. the controls are precise (most of the time, with the occasional unwanted, unintended move). it takes a while to learn the controls, as they're quite complex, taking about 2-3 hours to fully master them. once you do, you'll be kickin ass & takin' names. I haven't beaten the game yet, so I can't say about replayability, but the survival and exhibition modes have plenty. with a roster of over 30+ wrestlers & real-life rappers, there's plenty of violence to go around. the bottom line is, whether you're into wrestling, fighting, hip hop/rap or wanna beat the hell out of some rappers, this is the game for you. pick this up, you won't be disappointed. This is a really good wrestling game, and the characters are very well thought out. The controls are easy to understand, and not very difficult to master. The soundtrack is pretty decent, but the tunes that play during matches can get quite repetitive. It would have been better if the game would switch to different songs during the matches. The AI can be very frustrating sometimes, but the developers even said you aren't supposed to be able to defeat every opponent the first time. All in all, this is a must have for anyone who likes hip hop/rap, fighting games, or wrestling games. I can't imagine a collection without it, and there's no excuse not to own it for the price it goes for online.
On of my all-time favorite fighting games though the controls are a little quirkier than I remember. It's still an awesome game. Guess I'm just my Xbox one lol.

I like the combo moves your able to work on your character, the life like story plot as you move thru your enemies, and being able to use money to adjust your personality traits. I can't say I like the fast of story plot being to just get this fine chick instead of to beat the master, or that no matter what girl you work thru the story with, you'll lose at the end to another chick but it will definitely keep you busy. It was cheat so I decided to add it to my collection but I didn't think I'd enjoy it that much. Good pick.
