Zeiss 18mm f/3.5 Distagon T is a Long Term Investment
Like all Zeiss lenses, their 18mm f/3.5 Distagon T lens is a long term investment. I like it a lot, especially as used on my BMPCC 6k body. Housed as a ZE, ZF, cp.2, cp.3 or in other guises, it's always a very useable lens — with "that" world-class look the Zeiss glass creates. The fact that it "only" opens up to f/3.5 has not been a problem for me. Most modern cameras have such great low light capability that shooting in low light is simply not as big a problem as in years past. Plus, being a wide angle lens, the bokeh that we covet in other lens, such as a 50mm f/1.4 wide open, is not usually the prime factor when reaching for an 18mm lens.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
