Right optics. Right price. Bad vertical coarse adjust, twice.
The first microscope sent to me had a defective vertical coarse adjust (the two small wheels on either side), couldn't hold the weight of the camera--returned it. The replacement had the same problem except the vertical coarse adjust worked half the range but would fall down at lower levels. I'll keep it and raise the whole assembly as an adjust. Cheaply made but is cheap to buy and is what I need.

Nice microscope
Wow, more than expected, it's for my student daughter as an initiation to science and I think we'll have fun observing some little things. I wish it comes with a few microscope slides. We manage to find a way to use it during the holidays before ordering some.
