Not all of the ratings questions for this laser printer toner cartridge apply. Laser printers do not have a ink dry time and "Do the cartridges last a long time" depends on how much you print. In this case the toner cartridges last about 12,000 pages at 5% coverage. For some people that may be Forever, for our use that is about a month. So what does a long time mean? I buy this item regularly and save BIG $$$ over shopping at the Office Supply stores.
