FILTERS DUST AND POLLEN
I bought these in order to get the jump on pollen season. I have springtime allergies and put up with sneezing and runny nose, etc when outside, but when I come in the house I want some relief. While I have not used these yet, I have compared them to the ones I have been using and the density of the filter tells me that they should live up to the description of removing dust and pollen. The trick seems to be to have the filter material thick enough to filter the unwanted particles, yet porous enough to keep the furnace from struggling to force the air through. While I can't yet vouch for their effectiveness as advertised, the potential seems to be there.
