Although not as pliable as the original rubber watchband, this is a great substitute, especially in my situation where I have an older watch that's worn 24/7 during all activities. Since I had the original chrome clasp from my original watchband, I used the tool to remove it and transfer it to the new watchband, only because I thought it looked better.
