After hearing reviews from some of the purchasers of this product, I have to ask the question - 'What do they expect from a sub $300 laptop?' The laptop is not blazing fast but for normal day-to-day tasks of email, web surfing and basic spreadsheet applications, this computer works just fine. From the looks of their sentence structure, I doubt the detractors of this laptop are using it for anything other than playing games or some other nonsense which may require more power. My suggestion to them is, read the details of what you are purchasing before you purchase it genius. For 99% of people, this laptop will work just fine and for the price, you really cannot beat it.

it may be light weight, but flimsy top screen with plastic hinges, mouse Pad is built into the plastic of the case and is like sandpaper!!!! never ever had a mouse like this and it has a mind of its own, can't even upgrade it. i left my 15 days to return it run out so now i am stuck with a junker i hate, to me it is worth Fifty Bucks. Oh and the hp update is worse than windows ten updates, had to factory reset 3 times now, and what is today i opened the box 3.5 weeks ago, and the machine was built in march 2016, i bought a Lenovo and i luv it !!! 10 times Better machine for 175 bucks. i paid 212 bucks for this HP junk. Walmart sells better HP's.

I agree with the first person who wrote the review about this laptop. I must say the HP Laptops are great Laptops, I have mine for 5 years now and I must say , it was the best Laptop I have ever bought. If you Purchase a Laptop, read up on it first and then when you get it and do not like it, then return it. I will purchase this Laptop for my Husband, he is a Truck Driver and loves to watch DVD's and as of now he has a DVD portable Player and the screen is only 10 inch. Thank goodness I saw this Laptop and brand new too, here on eBay, the best place to purchase anything you are looking for and new too. I read up on it and yes I will give it 5 stars, I can't find a Laptop this size for under $300 anywhere either online or even in Stores.
