It works flawlessly with my Compal PBl21 which is limited to the 2nd generation i3/i5/i7 and only to quadruple i5 2nd generation which I could not find because I was trying to get the i7 but it is only single core for this computer so I just believed the double core i5 will be lot faster I did not make the comparison because I fell it is fast enough and I am just waiting for the i73rd generation will go down to $50.00 because this are quadruple Intel Processor top dog of the line.
I upgraded from DualCore processor. I couldn choose between the i5 and i7. The i7 little expensive. I i5 price is friendly. I think i5 is reasonable compromise between performance and price. Im completely satisfied. I got what I expected.
