I did a smart test on the drive and it passed.
Haven't had any trouble with it since I have installed to it fresh installs two times. Finally ended up with Debian 9 it is a headless server for my old laptop. You can't beat the price too cheapest prices around for this type of drive. I freaked out when I first got it cause it didn't look like it would fit my laptop's connector then I found out that it needed a cap to go on the pins. luckily the one on the old damaged hard drive was removable and the metal casing used to connect the drive to the laptop to screw it in was also removable and they both fit just right on the new drive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
