Going from plucking with my fingers to plucking with a pick greatly improved the sound of my playing, probably because my fingers kept rubbing the string (reducing vibration). It is a bit more awkward to play with a pick at first, it feels a little more "floaty" but for a novice like me, I think it's a good investment (especially for $1). That said, they're kind of like packs of baseball cards, you don't know what you're going to get. There's a distinct lack of diversity to the colours of the picks, I got 6 of the same black/red pick, 1 pink, 2 white, and an orange pick. They're a bunch of middling quality picks, it's a step up from cutting out your own from a milk jug, and a step down from buying a $5 pick in a music store. And because there's 10 if you lose or break one, you've got more.Read full review

Products were what I ordered, they are slim and light picks. Why didn't I rate "excellent" is because the package included too many picks with same colour.

They're really thin, but I still carry one on me over a year later

Thin, slim, flimsy picks. Possibly a personal preference.
