Excellent Cable Release for Canon 5D Mark II
A reliable cable release is essential for low-light photography when using a tripod, and the RS-80N3 fits the bill. It is easy to use, whether on the "bulb" setting for your shutter or not. The only gripe I have is that removing it from where it inserts on the camera is trickier than I would prefer. The Canon RS-80N3 Does the Job
This OEM Canon remote switch is plug-and-play: One just needs to orient the plug correctly so that the pins on the camera insert properly into the switch's openings. (One does need to be careful not to force the plug into the receptacle in order to avoid bending the pins in case the orientation is incorrect.)
