Not suitable for fixing a football
Otherwise a wonderful product, but too thick a liquid to be inserted through a needle into a football for fixing a hole in it. Oversize mountain bike tires--wouldn't hold air. 4 oz in each tire, inflate to desired psi, and ready to go instantly. There is one trick--as soon as you inflate the tires, get on and ride! Don't inflate the tires, then take your time putting away tools or rolling up your air hose. It is important to distribute the Slime as quickly as possible. So, Slime it, pump it up, hop on and take off! Clean up later. One of my tires wouldn't hold air for more than 2 minutes before Slime. After Slime and a ride, it hasn't lost any pressure in 3 weeks! Simply works!
I commute every day to work on bike. I've been using this product for the past three years and can say with experience that it works. One issue with this product: Slime can fowl up the valve stem seal, causing it to leak air after adding air. Always check the valve (bubble test), after adding air and if there is a leak, simply remove the stem and clean it.
