Great for lectures
This is my third Livescribe product. It is really handy as I attend lectures on regular basis. I'm not the fastest note-taker in the world, and this product captures the content even if I can't keep up. I can go back and listen and fill-in missing points in the written notes. The sound quality is better than what you would probably expect. Saying that, I did mention this is my third product. The reason for buying it multiple time is that the display screen goes bad after a couple of years. From what I can tell, the pen is probably still functional, but without the display, it's impossible to use.

accurate reproduction of handwritten notes and drawings. Use it often to do sketches and quickly save relevant page as pdf. Use it to archive my handwritten notes. Livescribe software allows quick search and character recognition - thus I find everything in a flash. Don't like the protection cap for pen-tip. Easy to lose. A proper cap like on normal ns would be better. Display tiny but useful
