My 10+ year old left hood was shifting out of position every ride. I didn't realize until I got these new ones how worn the old ones were. Went on easily with a few drops of rubbing alcohol, still perfectly in place after several hundred miles of riding. I definitely won't wait so long next time.

Since it is a Campagnolo part, it is pricey. All Campy parts share this "feature". My ride has a Campy Chorus gruppo from 2004 and these brakes hoods fit perfectly. They do require a bit of work to get them on and adjusted correctly. Lining up the little nubs with the holes on the shifter body took a little effort. But now, all is good.

I bought these for some 10-speed Veloce Ergo levers--the "full feature" (4/5 downshift, full cassette upshift) ones. These have the appropriate cutouts for them. The finish is a deep and rich black and the texture is very nice. Perfect for replacing the very worn and tearing original hoods. Can't wait to have it on a bike!

I restore these types of bikes. Usually, the hood covers are totally worn out and one of the first items to replace.

People can argue about whether Shimano or SRAM or Campagnolo components are better than the others but no one disputes the quality of Campy components. Their brake hoods are still the best. They aren't easy to put on but once they're in place they are terrific. Just the right amount of tackiness, and they don't move around at all.
